Meet Less Ordinary Designs!

I had the pleasure of chatting with Sara, the owner of Less Ordinary Designs, recently and wanted to share with you a little bit about her & her fabulous shop. She has some of the most gorgeous cards – her style is impeccable and oh so chic! Even better news for my readers, she is giving away a $25 gift card in my current 2k giveaway. Woo-hoo!

November 2007

Do you sell exclusively online or do you have a brick & mortar store?
Online only

What type of items do you sell?
Stationery and other miscellaneous paper and party goods.

What is your most popular selling item?
Holiday cards are a huge hit every year.  You can see all of her gorgeous holiday cards in her shop here.

How would you describe your style?
Flirty, vintage, girly, etc.
Clean, modern, fun . . . each design has it’s own personality, though.

About You

If you could go on a dream vacation where would you go? What would you do on the vacation?
Hmmm . . . with or without kids?  Without . . . somewhere on Mediterranean, perhaps? I went to Barcelona in high school and have always dreamed of going back.

What is your favorite color? TV show? Song?
Green. The Good Wife. My favorite song changes regularly… currently, “Your Love” by Trent Monk.

Anything else you would like to share?
My business is so much less about me and so much more about my customers. I’ve been doing this for five years and have worked with families on stationery for their weddings, then babies, then birthdays and holidays. Watching my clients’ families grow is a joy and I feel blessed to be a part of their lives.  If I ever had to close my shop, I think I’d mourn the loss of these people who have become friends!
