Hello again friends!

Hi there friends! I have really neglected my blog lately but I wanted to share with you a recent impromptu sessions I had. It started off with an idea to photograph some of the ways other photographers could use the Pocketful of Sunshine banner in their sessions with clients. As an aside, if you have been following my Facebook page you will notice that since the beginning of the year I have started making pennant banners, rag tie banners and more. These items were designed with photographers in mind but they have else grown to become part of home decor or for use as in a wedding/birthday party. You can see all of the items I have made that are available for sale by visiting my Etsy store: http://www.etsy.com/shop/jpurifoy

Anyways going back to my story… I wanted to show how the Pocketful of Sunshine banner could be used so I decided to pick some sunflowers that had been growing in a field and stuff them into the banner. After picking the sunflowers I strolled over to one of my favorite places to photograph and came across a couple of young girls, Avery and Kylie. They were immediately interested in my project and asked to participate in helping. In the end they ended up helping me style the pictures and modeled in them as well. Here are the pictures I captured – I hope you can see how much fun we had!
